I went in for a routine physical with my doctor because I was feeling tired, hungry and not sleeping well. Specific Action #1: How many meals per day?
Let me start by first asking you a question:

So we went to one of the free seminars and when we finished I asked Ellen if that is what she wanted to do, and she said she would. Regarding Dr. Laura and her claims, that is where I come to the second quote I wanted to share with you, "It ain't bragging if you can do it."
Dr. Laura did what she said she would do. Ellen's A1C number dropped from 7.3 to the 6's and now it is at 5.5. It never once went down when we were going just to the doctor, only since we met Dr. Laura. I (John) used to own a vending company so we had shelves of candy in my den and as we came home from the first visit with Dr. Laura when we said we were going to do this, Ellen that evening said, "I'd really like a bag of M&M's" and I said, "You can like one all you want you aren't going to get one". The next day I took all that candy and put it in a bag then took it to the food bank that my church supports. Ellen you are wonderful and she has done amazing things. She has lost weight, gained energy, her health is better, and we are now being told she is no longer in danger of the devastating side affects of diabetes.

I sat through the presentation, and it was no big deal. I said, "I know I am going to do this program because nothing else has ever worked for me, ever in life."
I have always been overweight. My mother says, "you were my biggest baby". So I just came to the conclusion, I am never going to get rid of this weight. You know how you say
"I will just be satisfied that I am not going to get any bigger and that's it."
I had been going to doctors and they kept telling me my A1C is climbing up and up and I'm like, "I don't know what to do about that". I was already not eating much on a daily basis as far as calories and such, so I didn't know what to do. So I saw Dr. Shwaluk and all of us are very thankful that she is doing what she is doing because a lot of doctors are not here to tell you this information.
My accomplishments are . . .
- I am no longer a borderline diabetic
- I had some high blood pressure issues that are resolved as well
- we are still working on digestive function, but it is a whole lot better
- I have lost 65 pounds in this program.
- I found out from Dr. Laura that I had a food sensitivity, and as soon as I stopped that food the weight just started falling off.

When I first started with the program, I was feeling like I was having a mental breakdown so to speak. It had started 6 months earlier and was progressively getting worse. I was having trouble with memory, the ability to do recall, and just daily stuff that most people would think was pretty normal.
It was difficult to get through work, have conversations with people, I felt a run down like my energy level was an empty tank and Iwas really stressed.
I felt very depressed and couldn't figure out what was happening to me. The depression was really high, I would rate it at about an 8 out of 10. I've got 3 young boys and I've got to keep up with them.
The program was great, we didn't have any trouble with the detox. For me it was kind of fun cause it was something different to do and just doing that alone I felt a ton better. Getting my supplements and being monitored by Dr. Shwaluk has also really helped.
Now the mental clarity and the ability to cope with stress in different situations I face with at work is so much better. I have a very stressful job. The depression now I would rate at zero to one out of ten.
My energy level is easily 90% better or even higher.
My wife and I did the program together as she has her own health issues.
What I would say to someone entering the program is to have an open mind. There is a lot that we think we understand about the human body that we are told via the different news outlets and the health magazines. However there are things that you may need to relearn that were not correct. Having Dr. Shwaluk help in the process made it so powerful.

I am 64 years old and I have 5 stints in me. I was overweight and I had a lot of symptoms that I could not understand myself.
My doctor told me to do a blood report and said I had some sugar issues, slightly high, "I will give you some medication", which did not work.
God speaks in different ways, and in my mail came Dr. Laura's flyer and I believe He sent it.
Dr. Laura is an angel and a blessing in my life. It has been 3 months since I started my program. I was 178.8 pounds then, I am 163 pounds now. What is good about that? The mirror! Now every time I walk past a mirror I stop to look at myself and it feels so good!
But that is not the only thing. It is the inner thing too, because I feel so good inside. I have been a vegetarian most of my life and despite that I was overweight, fatigued, with low energy, and some depression and Dr. Laura told me it all had to do with the sugar in my body.
After following the program I can truly say Dr. Laura is a blessing in my life. I would recommend this to anybody. I experienced this and so I can say I would recommend this to really anybody.

I looked in the mirror and I saw someone I didn't know anymore. He was getting old and fat. I just didn't recognized who I was anymore. I was feeling really lousy and that doesn't do anything for your outlook on life. I found myself just sleeping all the time.
Everything you said was practical, well informed and you were tough enough to help me get the results I wanted. The program was, not necessarily easy to do, but it was sensible to do and everything has been helpful.
This is a new belt and you can see that I've gone down three inches in belt size.
The biggest benefit that I got is that my feet aren't bothering me as much. The neuropathy is not nearly as bad as it was.

About 7 months ago I came home one evening and there was a flyer in there. It was a really interesting flyer for me to be looking at because just a few days before that I had calculated how much I was spending on medications, which was over $1000 a month. I said to myself I want to be off of all the diabetes medication I had. That was my goal and other than my A.D.D medication I am done – all medicines are gone. I used to eat 3500-4000 calories a day and I did not exercise or do anything. Now I am eating between 1300-2500 calories a day and I am never hungry. A lot of friends who had seen me in the past compared to now ask me what I am doing. I got some friends of mine in Houston to join the program and they thanked me so much for introducing them to this. I told them simply, "I want you around". That is what I want to do. I share with every one I know what is happening. I have lost over 20 pounds and dropped 13 pant sizes going from a 44 waist to a 31. I have not been this size since I was a sophomore in high school. My fat percentage is currently at 18% down from 50%. Yes it is a struggle. I want to steal the chocolate and all sorts of other stuff, but I don't. Every now and then I will cheat a little and we all do it.
The biggest thing for me is that I saw a $1000 a month that I could do something else with and I'm healthy too!
